Only Finland and Romania consider a stable condition as being a barrier to people with disabilities deciding to seek paid employment. Only Denmark, Germany, Italy and Portugal believe this not to be the case.

Here respondents were asked the question “does having a stable condition make it more difficult for a person seeking work?” Respondent were asked to respond yes or no. A yes was given a value of 1 and a no was given a value of 2. All respondents that answer yes (i.e. those who give a rating of 1) are highlighted in orange. They consider a stable condition to be a barrier to seeking paid employment.
