This element is considered to be an important facilitator in getting PWD to look for paid employment in Malta, a facilitator in 4 other countries and a barrier in 2 other countries.  Although this element is considered to be a barrier in Portugal caution should be exercised because of the variation between active and passive jobseekers.  In Portugal active jobseekers consider this element to be irrelevant while non-active jobseekers see it as an important barrier in getting PWD to look for employment.
